Bollywood Actress News: Aging Madhuri, Juhi promote healthcare

Madhuri Dixit promote healthcare

Madhuri Dixit and Juhi Chawla might have ruled the celluloid in the 1990s, but these silver screen sirens of yesteryears have been busy promoting health instead of films these days.

They came together for the first time to promote healthcare and not film in the national capital on Wednesday.

The city saw Madhuri's dazzling 1,000 watt smile as she made appearance in a new role as a "chief smile officer" with an oral care product. While the Dhak-Dhak girl was promoting oral care, the chirpy and vivacious Juhi was named ambassador of the thyroid awareness initiative.

The ladies might be promoting health awareness, but they both had reasons to celebrate too. While Madhuri was ecstatic about her soon to be unveiled wax statue at London's famous Madame Tussauds museum, Juhi seemed extremely surprised with her Filmfare Awards nomination for her role as Megha in film I Am Megha.

The two actresses did rule the roost in their prime, but as age catches up health is what they have turned to rather gracefully.

Hollywood Actress Jennifer

Hollywood Actress News: Jennifer Aniston's figure is the most desired female body, according to plastic surgeons.

Aniston, 42, beat model Bar Rafaeli, 26, and singer Shakira, 34, to take the top spot.

Beverly Hills surgeons Richard Fleming and Toby Mayer based their ratings on the basis of the stars that their patients name when they are come for surgery.

"The biggest shift over the past year is that the younger celebrity group is emerging - people like Katy Perry. The celebrity faces are what people refer to as an example because they like the way they look and they refer to these celebrities when they are considering plastic surgery," Fleming told Fox News.

"Another interesting change this year is that the female body choice is smaller in proportion. People don't want an unbalanced body."

Playing pregnant woman was cakewalk for Bollywood Actress Vidya Balan

If she effortlessly essayed the role of a sex symbol in The Dirty Picutre, it was a cakewalk to play a pregnant woman in search of her husband in Kahaani, says Vidya Balan .

"It was not tough at all. During our college life, we all friends used to do all the nautankis and these stand-up items. And my favourite role would always be of a pregnant woman. So the walk and all came to me very naturally," Vidya, 33, told reporters.

Vidya ruled Bollywood as Silk last year and it seems she wants to take it forward with Kahaani as she is aggressively promoting the movie. If she dressed like her character for the promotion of The Dirty Picture, the actress appeared with a baby bump at the Kahaani promotional event.

Besides her hard work, Vidya can't stop praising director Sujoy Ghosh's efforts and said: "He is very energetic. We managed to shoot continuously for 64 days without any break. Sujoy would not let the mood drop."

Vidya, who started her career with Pradeep Sarkar and went on to work with acclaimed directors like Priyadarshan, R. Balakrishnan and Abhishek Chaubey, hasn't got an opportunity to repeat her directors.

When asked about this, she said: "I don't make any rules. I would be happy to work with the directors with whom I have already worked. Few times it didn't work out. May be in future I will work with them. I am very greedy."

Her recent was with director Milan Luthria - they teamed up for The Dirty Picture and the film became a super-duper hit.
